Base Salary $75,000–$85,000 + Uncapped Commission | Ontario | Hybrid | Full-Time, Permanent

About the Opportunity

A well-established, award-winning Canadian IT staffing and consulting firm is looking for a driven Account Executive to build and grow technology staffing partnerships across Ontario.

This is a pure business development role — focused on new logo acquisition, long-term client relationship building, and growing a sustainable book of business within a forward-thinking, fast-growing organisation. Unlike generalist staffing firms, our client engages at the programme level before a single role is sourced, specialising in Data, AI, Cloud, Security, and Transformation Leadership — meaning you’ll be positioned as a strategic partner, not a transactional supplier.

Delivery is fully supported by dedicated recruitment resources, giving you the space to focus on what you do best: winning clients and building relationships.

What You Will Do

  • Prospect and win new IT staffing clients across Ontario and broader Canadian markets
  • Develop and execute a strategic territory growth plan focused on new logo acquisition
  • Build long-term partnerships through consultative outreach and relationship development
  • Re-engage and expand existing client relationships where opportunities arise
  • Meet clients face-to-face and develop meaningful relationships that lead to recurring business
  • Identify opportunities across Public Sector, Enterprise, Manufacturing, and Technology markets
  • Partner closely with internal recruiting teams to deliver high-quality talent solutions
  • Position the firm as a strategic staffing partner rather than a transactional supplier
  • Build a sustainable book of business that creates recurring revenue and long-term growth

What We Are Looking For

  • 4+ years of staffing sales or business development experience, ideally within IT staffing
  • A solid understanding of core technology recruitment markets and how staffing solutions are delivered
  • Proven experience building client relationships and developing business from scratch
  • A strategic approach to business development — thoughtful and consultative rather than high-volume
  • Enjoys face-to-face client engagement and long-term relationship building
  • Commercially minded, self-motivated, and entrepreneurial in approach
  • Able to operate independently while collaborating effectively with delivery teams
  • Motivated by the opportunity to help build and grow a business, not simply inherit one
  • Experience within Ontario Public Sector, Government, Ministries, Municipalities, Higher Education, Crown Corporations, Enterprise, or Manufacturing environments would be a strong advantage

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base Salary: $75,000–$85,000 (with flexibility for exceptional candidates)
  • Uncapped commission structure rewarding new business and account growth
