Job Description

Our client, a leading recruitment and staffing firm recognized nationally for excellence, is seeking a Sales/Account Manager to join their Toronto team. This role blends Business Development & Account Management, focusing on Securing & nurturing IT accounts, developing new client relationships, and ensuring high-quality candidate placements across both permanent and contract roles.

The Role and Responsibilities  

As a Sales/Account Manager, you will:

  • Find, manage and grow existing IT accounts across a variety of industries
  • Develop new relationships and drive business development efforts to expand market presence
  • Lead day-to-day candidate operations: submissions, preparation, scheduling, and feedback for both candidates and clients
  • Provide consultative guidance to clients and candidates, ensuring a high-quality placement experience
  • Collaborate with internal delivery teams to ensure seamless execution
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the IT staffing market, trends, and client expectations

Skills and Qualifications you need to be successful 

  • Proven experience managing accounts in IT staffing or recruitment
  • Strong client relationship, communication, and consultative skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and high-volume workflows effectively
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a focus on long-term client and candidate success
  • Comfortable balancing New business development & account management  responsibilities
  • Based in the GTA, with the ability to work in a hybrid model (in-office/client-facing and remote)
