The Role and Responsibilities  

As an IT Recruiter, you’ll play a key role in driving recruitment delivery and building strong relationships with both candidates and clients. The role blends recruitment, relationship management, and results-driven activity in a fast-moving environment.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the full recruitment life cycle, from sourcing to placement
  • Scheduling and conducting regular calls and meetings with IT professionals to build and maintain strong relationships
  • Developing trusted partnerships with consultants already on client sites and expanding those networks
  • Collaborating closely with internal teams to ensure seamless client delivery
  • Identifying opportunities to strengthen existing relationships and uncover new ones
  • Staying informed about industry trends and market activity to guide recruitment strategy

Skills and Qualifications you need to be successful 

  • 1–3 years of experience in recruitment, preferably in IT staffing (agency experience an asset)
  • Competitive, self-motivated, and results-driven personality
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with both candidates and clients
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills—phone, in-person, and written
  • Based in Toronto with the ability to work 3 days per week in-office
