Job Description

Our client is a highly technical recruitment consultancy serving the electronics, energy, and semiconductor industries in Europe and North America and is looking for a remote experienced Technical Recruiter to join their Canadian team. Headquartered in the UK and with operations in Asia, Europe, Africa, North America, and South America, they are a company that truly never sleeps.

COMPANY OVERVIEW

Working with some of the world’s most interesting technology companies plays a big part in the development of our client’s projects, from Power Electronics to EV Charging to 5G Technology and Consumer Electronics. With experienced SMPS, semiconductors, UPS, datacentres, electric vehicles candidates in high demand, our client takes an all-encompassing approach, partnering with employers throughout the recruitment process to attract, hire and retain the best talent. THE ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Recruitment in this role does not include sourcing
  • Our client has a very productive sourcing team that will book candidates directly into the recruiter’s calendar
  • The recruiter will screen and take over the candidate relationship from there
  • You will manage the candidate process right up until the offer meaning you will be client facing as well
  • You will send submittals to the client, liaise with the client to book interviews and get feedback etc
  • Once an offer is received the Head of the team is often engaged and offers to help close if need be
  • Recruiters can also do some sourcing if they so desire and would get a higher commission on those placements
  • This role will largely be dealing with a large enterprise semiconductor (microchip) manufacturer in California and although fully remote (Vancouver preferred) it will be Pacific time zone
  • This account is in a high growth phase and represents over 1M CAD in annual billings

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED TO BE SUCCESSFUL

  • You will have 3+ years’ experience in IT recruitment – hardware/semiconductor experience is a huge plus but not a requirement
  • You can come from an agency or corporate background
  • You will be intelligent, tech savvy and polished as you will be client facing
  • Exposure to enterprise clients is a plus
  • You are an autonomous worker with high attention to detail and great business acumen

VALUE AND BENEFITS

  • Competitive salary ranging between $45,000 to $70,000 plus commission, depending on experience
  • 25 days annual leave plus 5 sick days
