The Role and Responsibilities

  • Personally generate new business through active business development efforts, such as cold-calling, networking, and attending industry events
  • Work with clients to understand their hiring needs and develop customized staffing solutions that meet their requirements
  • Build and lead a high-performing team of 360 & 180 desk professionals to ensure the highest level of client satisfaction
  • Set and manage team quotas, providing regular coaching and feedback to ensure they are on track to meet and exceed targets
  • Hybrid work with a minimum of 4 days per week in office in order to build a team and lead from the front

Skills and Qualifications Needed to be Successful

  • Tenured staffing professional with a proven track record of success in business development and managing a team
  • Life Sciences expertise is an asset but our client is happy to invest in training if you’ve demonstrated success in Business Development as a top leader & mentoring teams in other Professional Services sector(s) that will easily translate to you learning LS vertical (e.g. Pharma, Technology & Transformation, Technical & Engineering, etc.)
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others to achieve theirs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and candidates
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and implement effective business strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, with a hands-on, can-do attitude
