Job Description

Our client, an award winning recruitment agency specializing in advertising, marketing, tech, digital, and design, is currently seeking a dynamic Business Developer to help drive their company growth and success further. This is a hybrid position based in Toronto, ON.

As a Business Developer, you will be instrumental in expanding our clients customer base, fostering strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. Your primary focus will be on identifying new business opportunities, nurturing existing client relationships, and promoting their comprehensive suite of staffing and recruitment solutions. This is an exciting opportunity for a results-oriented professional with a passion for sales and a strong understanding of the staffing industry.

The Role and Responsibilities

Identify and prioritize target clients and industries based on market research and business objectives.
Proactively prospect and generate leads through cold calling, networking events, referrals, and other sales tactics.
Conduct thorough needs assessments and consultative sales meetings with prospective clients to understand their staffing challenges and objectives.
Develop tailored staffing solutions and proposals that address client needs and align with company capabilities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, HR professionals, and hiring managers within client organisations.
Collaborate with internal teams, including recruiters and account managers, to ensure smooth transitions and exceptional service delivery to clients.
Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and client needs to position our client as a trusted partner and industry leader.
Meet or exceed sales targets, revenue goals, and performance metrics as outlined by the company.

Skills and Qualifications Needed to be Successful

Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the staffing or recruitment industry.
Strong understanding of staffing solutions, recruitment processes, and industry trends.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Self-motivated with a proactive and results-driven approach.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment while maintaining attention to detail and professionalism.
Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales tools.
Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings, networking events, and industry conferences.
