Our client partners the world’s renewable energy leaders who are now busier than ever and are currently seeking an enthusiastic, experienced Sales Director, Solar to join their team based in Houston, Texas.

The Role and Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the VP for the Americas region with close collaboration with leaders from across the organization, the Sales Director, Solar will focus on business development for company presence in the solar, storage and hydrogen renewable energy markets and help lead that part of the business in the US
  • You will be encouraged to embed yourself in the renewable energy community and to travel for client visits, attend industry events, etc. as techniques to expand the book of business (bringing an existing book of clients in Solar would also be a huge plus)
  • This is a perfect role for a business savvy, subject matter expert, with a start-up mentality and goal-oriented attitude
  • You are autonomous, entrepreneurial, ambitious and hard working (willing to put in extra time to build the empire)
  • Our client is looking for someone to make a significant and long-term contribution to the business and will make the most of the real opportunities for career development and progression offered from the outset

Skills and Qualifications Needed to be Successful

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in staffing sales in renewables (some experience in solar is a must)
