Are you a New York-based Staffing Professional working within the Life Sciences Industry? Our clients’ US contract team has been so busy keeping up with business that they are in need of a Risk & Compliance Manager, Life Sciences for their New York (or potentially Boston) location. The Role and Responsibilities

Their US contract team has been so busy keeping up with business that they are in need of a Risk & Compliance Manager, Life Sciences for their New York (or potentially Boston) location.

Our client has a team that handles Risk & Compliance in the UK, but urgently need someone in the US to help manage the volume

  • The position will own the Compliance and Risk piece, proactively ensuring that all relevant documents, accreditations, licences, etc. are collected and in order when hiring
  • Conduct references and background checks and research compliance requirements when questions arise
  • Manage the relationship between our client’s PRS company which they use to payroll and onboard contract placements
  • Advise and potentially execute the transition from third party payroll/on-boarding to in-house for their contractors
  • Assist with internal questions, internal hiring, on-boarding etc., and act as office manager, ad hoc duties as needed
  • You will have exposure to Risk and Compliance, hiring, payroll, on-boarding, etc., and need minimal training

Skills and Qualifications Needed to be Successful

Value and Benefits

  • Competitive salary of between $60,000 and $80,000 for candidates with HR or payroll admin experience and up to $100,000 for someone with Life Sciences staffing experience
  • Above-average commission structure, divided into a quarterly threshold – once passed, they begin at 30% and go up beyond 40% (e.g. $100K base = $25K quarterly threshold)
  • Potential for equity in the company (planned events in near future), representing as much as 7 figures per event

  • Potential bonus may be involved
