Are you looking for a growth opportunity to join a strong brand with a niche focus staffing firm who have been in their industry for some 20 years and are looking for a bright, enthusiastic New Business Developer who has the competitive drive to succeed?

Their journey began when our client discovered a passion for the recruiting industry and saw a void for the niche world of fashion and shortly thereafter, in pursuit of global consumer growth acquired a boutique Executive Search firm and simultaneously launched smaller sister companies to cater to the contingent global consumer creative and tech industries. Over the years and driven by demand, the smaller sister companies were built and launched to support the niche needs of this existing client base.

The Role and Responsibilities

  • You’ll either have worked in CPG or have a strong interest in Beauty / Fashion or CPG
  • This is the first sales role in Canada, and can be based anywhere in Canada
  • You will be selling both perm and contract, and retained business
  • You’ll need a strong ability to qualify lucrative customers who will provide long term relationships
  • Engaging new clients, social and wining/dining is encouraged, also involvement with networking events
  • You’ll be tasked with bringing in a variety of roles to work on, but they will incorporate everything in the Marketing space, including CMO’s, VP’s etc as well as support positions that support the business
  • You’ll work very closely with the Recruitment Manager and her team that are currently based in Toronto, and is part of a wider, global recruitment team
  • A target list will be provided – however, it would be super attractive if you can bring in some of your own clients
  • There is a huge global reach – so cross pollination is encouraged

Skills and Qualifications Needed to be Successful

  • You will need to have confidence working in a CPG market and hopefully have a network of contacts from a prior role that you could develop here
  • 3+ years’ experience would be an advantage
  • You will be ambitious, polished, strategic and career driven
  • Experience working in a sales/staffing environment is necessary
  • Ability to build long-term lasting relationships
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
  • Must be a team player and thrive in a fast paced environment
