Our clients, who are within the Top 10 revenue generators of staffing organisations in the UK and have been in business for over 35 years, are currently seeking a seasoned Market Leader to join, lead (with sales) and manage delivery of their Engineering and IT recruitment team based in Toronto. The Role and Responsibilities

  • This is a fantastic opportunity for someone that is highly motivated to leverage some excellent roots and build back a book of business and team
  • This role will lead (with sales) and manage delivery of the team based in Toronto and the current book of business working out of both Toronto and Dallas
  • You will be the lead and “the leader” in the Canadian market and have a small team reporting to you in Toronto, currently 3 heads
  • There is a HUGE opportunity to grow both markets and clients and develop this role into VP of North America if that’s your goal, however, that won’t happen overnight. There IS huge scope to do this based on the opportunity and the backing of this UK held organisation
  • Currently the book of business is all engineering focused, but the scope of the role and team could encompass both IT and Engineering positions as that’s the heart of what our client does globally
  • You will lead with sales and build your book which likely will be a mix of brand new business but also could be tackling the existing accounts where they are already delivering.
  • Although this business is through an MSP the MSP’s are vendor neutral and you will have direct access to line managers which will enable contact and direct sales
  • With huge engineering projects underway and more planned, the need for engineering candidates in the GTA market alone is about to explode
    Full P&L responsibility

Skills and Qualifications Needed to be Successful

  • Ideally you will have experience in one/other or both of these verticals however a growth, passionate and ready to go attitude who has demonstrated success in their staffing vertical are what our client is looking for to re-energise and rejuvenate

Value and Benefits

  • Salary around the early $100K’s + lucrative commission + equity
  • Commission will be paid immediately for the billing contractors out working
  • Package to be agreed at point of interview and offer
  • 4 weeks vacation
