Our client, established over 40 years ago, is an independently owned, mid-sized staffing organization based in New York City and is among the leading personnel services in the metropolitan area. With 50 professionals and staff, the team works together to present clients with staffing solutions in a timely, efficient and cost-effective manner. 

The Role and Responsibilities

  • This Business Development Specialist will lead sales initiatives with potential and existing clients to establish new business and will possess strong communication skills, think critically and have a demonstrated ability to execute sales strategies
  • As a seasoned sales professional, you have outstanding interpersonal skills and the desire to help impact this company’s growth, working alongside a driven and entrepreneurial team 
  • This Business Development Specialist position will focus on high volume temp business within the Light Industrial space
  • The role will focus on the Long Island, NY territory, but there is no real restriction on geography 
  • If support reaching results is needed, our client will look at the current dynamics to determine how best to help you be successful

Skills and Qualifications Needed to be Successful

  • A Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years of prior industry related business development experience in high volume temp staffing in the Long Island, NY area is desirable

  • Base salary between $60-80K depending on experience plus commission
