This UK-based firm is looking for a hybrid Business Development Director to join their Boston, MA team. The Role and Responsibilities

This UK-based firm is looking for a Business Development Director to join their Boston, MA team, hiring both permanent and contract recruiters in the Life Sciences industry.

  • The role involves actively working as a Business Developer in Life Sciences as well as growing and managing a team (they are highly open to individuals outside of Life Sciences backgrounds & willing to train someone coming from another professional services fills type role)
  • Our client has talent and a growing client base, but are in need of a good salesperson at leadership level (they are open to the right person & skill set if one hasn’t officially led a team but demonstrate leadership qualities & an openness to grow/learn)
  • They are looking for a builder/leader who wants to be part of something more than just a staffing firm, but actually part of the Life Sciences community both locally and globally 
  • This is a hybrid work model requiring you to work autonomously and be in office at least two days per week

Skills and Qualifications Needed to be Successful

  • You should have excellent written and verbal communication skills and a positive/outgoing personality
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in agency staffing placing professional services roles (a preference for experience within the Life Sciences industry but not required), with a focus on Business Development/Account Management
  • Leadership experience preferred but not required
