Company Overview 

Our client is a family run business, with goals of expansion and a stronger client base. Their emphasis is on retention, both internally and externally with both clients and candidates.  They have a very high focus on treating people well and sharing the fortune that this creates amongst the whole team.

The Role and Responsibilities

  • Team of 4-6 recruiters currently, which is managed by an Account Manager, who have been with our client for 7 years
  • This is a business development position, developing a strong core business of Light Industrial/Warehouse, Manufacturing business
  • Currently our client has 8 accounts with anywhere from 150 / 200 workers out daily
  • This role can develop in to a team lead of sales folks if that is what the candidate desires
  • Business Developing within GTA is main geographical focus, however they will also go outside the GTA if needed
  • Do what you need to do to get the clients – wine, dine, visit…
  • This can be an autonomous position and they will let you make your own business decisions with the best intentions of the firm

Skills and Qualifications Needed to be Successful

  • 2-3 years proven successful track record in sales, a passion for results
  • Strong teamwork skills
  • Experience working in the light industrial staffing recruiting environment is a plus OR a strong interest in that field
  • Ability to build long-term lasting relationships
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills
  • Must be a team player who can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
  • Must have an entrepreneurial spirit and high sense of responsibility
