Our client has grown quickly within the global digital consulting industry and is currently seeking a Bilingual IT Recruiter to join their team in Montreal.

The Role and Responsibilities

  • The Bilingual IT Recruiter will handle full cycle internal IT recruitment for our client’s employees – both contractors (40%) and full time workers (60%)
  • An established, well-respected company with a strong presence in Montreal, their recruitment team is largely based offshore with additional North American offices in Toronto, NY, Charlotte NC, and Atlanta GA. This will be their first local hire for the Montreal office
  • Our client is looking for someone outgoing, passionate, intelligent and positive – someone who can really set the tone for the Montreal team and represent them at job fairs, events and University Campuses etc
  • This role requires you to be technically minded and can easily “talk technology” with candidates
  • Our client being a consulting firm has metrics related to each project the recruiter will be assigned to so they need someone who will really own their assignment and get it done in a timely, high quality fashion
  • Completion of the project metrics is what is important, meaning there is a lot of flexibility around schedule and number of hours worked as long as the recruiter is autonomous and owning their project
  • There is also strong emphasis on internal process and admin, so candidates should have a positive attitude towards a process-heavy recruiting role
  • This is a hybrid work model requiring you to work in the downtown Montreal office at least two days per week

Skills and Qualifications Needed to be Successful

  • You will be fluent in both French and English – spoken & written
  • A minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in IT recruitment is required

  • Competitive compensation with starting salary between $80,000 and $85,000, depending on experience
  • An incentive paid on each placement (potentially earn an additional $10-15K in incentives based on performance)
